Each year Penn Asian Senior Services’ Autumn Festival celebrates Chuseok, the three day Korean holiday to celebrate family and pay respect to our ancestors. To help ensure social distancing while marking this special holiday. For the first time we will be hosting our Autumn Festival as a live drive-in event. The Drive-In Autumn Festival will be a unique event experience taking place in PASSi’s parking lot. Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy a freshly prepared Asian meal while watching culturally-attuned live performances, and pre-recorded videos.
The Drive-In Autumn Festival will include a combination of musical and dance performances representing a diverse mix of Asian cultures. The performers will move throughout PASSi’s parking lot, helping to maintain social distancing, while also providing our attendees a front row to the performances.
We will also have freshly-prepared Asian meals available for purchase at $5 per meal. The meals will consist of:
Rice
Bulgogi (Korean Grilled Beef)
Mandu (Korean dumpling),
Kimchi
Korean Glass Noodle Stir Fry
